Two men died on Yom Kippur in Manchester.
He drove his car into worshippers, stabbed others, and tried to force his way into the synagogue.
That’s the surface story. The headlines say “antisemitism.”
The deeper truth is uglier.
This was not only antisemitism.
This was the fruit of a lie.
The Lie of Multiculturalism
For decades the West has repeated a mantra: all cultures are equal.
That lie has shaped immigration policy, education, and even the way the Church talks about mission.
Britain imported Syrian, Somali, and Pakistani cultures into neighborhoods that once shared a Christian moral framework. Then politicians told themselves a fairy tale: everyone would live happily side by side.
But cultures are not equal. Ideas, behaviors, and values are not interchangeable. Some cultures foster life, order, and respect for the image of God. Others glorify violence, resentment, and death.
Here’s the truth: diversity is never a strength. Diversity is a description. Only when the moral fabric of that diversity aligns with righteousness does it strengthen a people. When it glorifies sin, it weakens and destroys.
What They Won’t Say
Consider the contrasts:
Mexican vs. American culture. Mexican culture carries deep family loyalty and warmth. But cartel violence is a cancer. The cartel does not deserve moral equivalence with the family dinner table.
Hip-Hop/Prison culture vs. American culture. This subculture (often mislabeled as “black culture”) glorifies drugs, violence, and misogyny. That is not morally equal to the culture of black churches, intact families, or entrepreneurs who uphold biblical values.
Diversity, untested by righteousness, is not strength. It is confusion. It is rot.
America’s Mirror
Don’t think this is only Britain’s problem.
Look at Chicago, Baltimore, or the southern border.
Cartel culture floods across into our towns, leaving overdoses and murder trails. Cities are run by leaders who excuse violence as “systemic injustice.” The hip-hop/prison ethic is platformed as art while it teaches a generation to celebrate degradation.
This is not diversity that strengthens. This is diversity that kills.
The West’s Cowardice
Modern Britain knows the truth. America knows it too. Yet our leaders will not say it.
Instead of naming evil, they drape themselves in the language of tolerance. They say the problem is poverty. They blame colonialism or racism. They will say anything except the truth: not all cultures are equal, and not all cultures are good.
And so more blood spills.
God’s Verdict on Culture
Scripture doesn’t treat cultures as morally neutral.
God judged the Canaanites for child sacrifice.
He judged Babylon for idolatry.
He judged nations that shed innocent blood.
Proverbs 14:34 (ESV): “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Cultures marked by sin do not become “equal” simply because they fly under the banner of diversity. Christ redeems individuals from every tribe and tongue—but redemption does not baptize every cultural practice. It transforms them. Where the Gospel shapes hearts, cultures flourish. Where it does not, sin reigns.
Manchester’s Warning
This was not an isolated act.
It was the inevitable fruit of multicultural relativism.
Britain believed the lie. America believes it too.
If we keep swallowing it, Manchester will not be the last tragedy. It will only be one of many.
Isaiah 5:20 (ESV): “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Diversity is not a virtue. Diversity is a description. Until we recover the courage to examine the moral fabric of our cultures, to name sin for what it is, and to exalt righteousness once more, we will keep writing obituaries that could have been avoided.
Diversity does not save nations. Righteousness does.

Diversity ranks among the original 'new' moral absolutes invented by the Marxist Frankfurt School. The others were choice, sensitivity, sexual orientation, and tolerance.
The primary goal of the Frankfurt School was to translate Marxism from economic terms into cultural terms (Cultural Marxism/Multiculturalism/Woke). It would provide the ideas on which to base a new political theory of revolution based on culture, harnessing new oppressed groups for the faithless proletariat. Smashing Christianity and morals, It would also build a constituency among academics, who could build careers studying and writing about the new oppression.
Toward this end, Marcuse-who favored polymorphous perversion-expanded the ranks of the new absolutes by including homosexuals, lesbians, and transsexuals. Into this was spliced obscene sex education and cultural terrorism tactics. Gramsci's 'long march' through the institutions was added to the mix, and then all of this was wedded to Freudian psychoanalysis and psychological conditioning techniques (ie DARPA). The end product was Cultural Marxism, now known in the West as multiculturalism/Woke.
Additional intellectual firepower was required: a theory to pathologize everything and everyone to be destroyed. In 1950, the Frankfurt School augmented Cultural Marxism with Theodor Adorno's idea of the 'authoritarian personality.' This concept is premised on the notion that Christianity, free markets, and the traditional family create a character prone to racism and fascism. Thus, anyone who upholds God and America's traditional moral values and institutions is both racist and fascist. Children raised by traditional values parents, we were told to believe, will almost certainly become racists and fascists. By extension, if fascism and racism are endemic to America's traditional culture, then everyone raised in the traditions of God, family, patriotism, gun ownership, or free markets is in need of psychological help.
The pernicious influence of Adorno's 'authoritarian personality' idea can be clearly seen in some of the research that gets public money.
"In Aug., 2003, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) announced the results of their $1.2 million tax-payer funded study. It stated, essentially, that traditionalists are mentally disturbed. Scholars from the Universities of Maryland, California at Berkeley, and Stanford had determined that social conservatives...suffer from 'mental rigidity, dogmatism, and uncertainty avoidance,' together with associated indicators for mental illness." http://www.edwatch.org/ "Social and Emotional Learning" Jan. 26, 2005) (Cultural Marxism (edited), L. Kimball, 2007, American Thinker)
Wow! You are on fire with this one! “Diversity is a description, not a strength”… perfect!
